Back in Business!

We are (finally) back to work, after an extended closure, and it’s great to be back! Our official office hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. We are currently taking projects that have extended deadlines, and we seem to be booking approximately one week out at this point.

Backyard Genius

OK, so how fun is this… a reality television show featuring and highlighting creative and incredibly resourceful individuals who have created something totally awesome out of either necessity, or just pure genius. I know! It’s totally fun! So, you can imagine how much fun it’s going to be to work with these guys on this project. We just finished their business card redesign, and now we’re working on a new website, which we will again be partnering with Nixon Web Mastery on. I’ll keep you posted on the website progress once it’s up – you’ll be able to view episodes and submit your own Backyard Genius invention ideas.

Monte Real Estate Web Design

Another project with our good friends over at Nixon Web Mastery. Monte Real Estate is located in Florida, and they specialize in high-end properties. We needed to convey the luxury side of their business, and work within their current look-and-feel. We ended up applying some elements of their current business card to the header. Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. – Denver Branch

It’s been a really great couple of months, reconnecting with friends and colleauges here at the local Siemens office. I’m thrilled to be helping them revamp their Operations & Maintenance Manuals, and their Energy Team’s Sales Proposals to fit within Siemens’ ID Guidelines. We’ve done 5 proposals together, and we’re on the third O&M this month. Definitely been busy! But, nice to work with familiar faces in a familiar industry. Looking forward to continuing this client relationship!

Evening with The Argyle

I love this concept – The Argyle Foundation hosts a formal gala every year as a fundraiser for The Argyle. They invite professional chefs from the Denver area to give cooking demonstartions. How much fun is that? I had a lot of fun working on the invitation design. For more information or to attend a great event that helps seniors in need, contact The Argyle Foundation. AND I just saw that they’re hosing a Fun Run on September 26, partnering with my alma mater, Regis University! I’ll keep you all posted on more details for that as I get them…

Cottonwood Communications Site Now Live!

I really enjoyed working with Ted Thonus on this branding project. We just launched his new website, which is really fun. Thanks to Nixon Web Mastery for another great partnering project. The new site is based on a WordPress platform, and offers a lot of really easy updating capabilities so that Ted has more control over his website moving forward. Ted is a fellow BBB member, and based on all of our interactions I would highly recommend his services to anyone who’s looking to expand their telecommunications. Check out his new site!

John Corcoran Foundation is Now Offering Free Computers!

We’re still working with The John Corcoran Foundation on updating their materials for the coming school year – they’re now one of the only tutoring program that offers a free computer to their online tutoring students, in addition to one-to-one tutoring. Their program is really great, so it’s fun to be able to continue working with them on their materials. By the way, they’re looking for tutors for the upcoming school year. Yellowbook Ad Campaign

We worked with EngCzech Consulting on the content for this campaign, which was an update from last year’s. The client wanted to appear friendly, credible and trustworthy — but the ad still needs to stand out from the rest of the ads in the various sections in which it appears. We’re still in the middle of resizing for various publications, so this should appear in print for the 2010 publications.
